How to Use

1. Enable GitHub Pages

Repository Settings → Pages → Source: "GitHub Actions"

2. Customize Content

3. Create Notebook Entries

Creating a New Entry

  1. Copy template: cp posts/_template.qmd posts/YYYY-MM-DD-title.qmd

  2. Edit metadata (YAML frontmatter):

Organizing Entries

Categories help organize and find entries: - Project names: coral-bleaching, RNA-seq - Keywords: fieldwork, analysis, methods - Topics: molecular-biology, statistics

Naming convention: YYYY-MM-DD-descriptive-name.qmd

Search and Filter

The notebook page automatically provides: - Search bar - Find keywords in content - Category filters - Click tags to filter - Sort options - By date, title, etc. - RSS feed - Subscribe at /notebook.xml
