Current Situation

What to do: 1. Go to repository Settings → General 2. Scroll to the “Repository name” section 3. Rename from website to ahuffmyer.github.io 4. Update _quarto.yml: yaml website: site-url: "https://ahuffmyer.github.io" 5. Commit and push the changes

Option 3: Use a Custom Domain

URL: https://yourname.com/ (your own domain)

Pros: - ✅ Most professional - ✅ Complete control over URL - ✅ No GitHub branding in URL

Cons: - ❌ Requires purchasing a domain name ($10-15/year) - ❌ Additional DNS configuration

What to do: 1. Purchase a domain name 2. Configure DNS settings (see GitHub Pages documentation) 3. Add custom domain in repository Settings → Pages 4. Update _quarto.yml with your domain

Recommendation

Keep the current configuration with URL https://ahuffmyer.github.io/website/
